In the ratings of sci-tech journals sponsored by Chinese universities in the year of 2018, the journal Avian Research was awarded “Hundred Outstanding University Sci-Tech Journals”. The ratings, in which over one thousand sci-tech journals participated, were organized by the Society of China University Journals, aiming to motivate the China-based university journals for better development.
